Auto Mechanics - Beginning
10 weeks

$90 tuition

Students will learn a broad variety of entry level skills in automotive maintenance including engine washing, oil changing, tune-ups, steering and brake systems, electrical systems, and general engine operating theory. This is the class to take if you are looking for an entry level job in the automotive industry or if you simply want to learn more about cars.

Bike Repair - 8 weeks

$120 tuition/quarter

This class will cover proper function and maintenance of common bicycles. Topics will include tire/tube repair, wheel truing, brake and gear adjustments, and repacking of bearings. Bring your bike and learn how to do your own repairs. Small class size will allow for individual attention. Class is limited to 10 students.

Davis Community Folk Orchestra
10 weeks

$65 tuition/quarter

Class will begin with a short lecture on folk music from many parts of the world followed by a rehearsal of a traditional instrumental piece. Before class there will be a beginners’ session to help new students learn the music and be able to blend in and participate. The last week of the quarter the group will provide a free concert for the community. Class is limited to 35 students.

English Pronunciation
10 weeks

$100 tuition/quarter

This course is designed for intermediate high/advanced level English learners who wish to develop better oral and listening skills and is open to all students. This will be achieved by detailed lessons and practice in and out of the classroom. Proper decoding, syllable recognition, word and phrase stress, intonation, and rhythm patterns in English speech will be covered.

SAT Preparation Workshop
4 weeks

$85 tuition/quarter

The SAT college entrance exam tests grammar and usage, reading comprehension of short passages, and content from third-year high school math. Instruction will include review of vocabulary and math concepts,
when to make an educated guess and how to pace yourself. Instruction will allow for small groups and individual support. A 50% refund will be made if requested one week before class begins.
