Dear Patwin Families,
We are confident, energized, and excited as we enter the 2011-2012 school year. The Patwin staff remains committed to challenging and nurturing every student, every day.
As we prepare for the first day of school on Tuesday, August 23rd, please note that some back to school procedures have changed. Enclosed, you will find 4 forms that must be completed and submitted before your child can officially be placed in a class. Thank you for understanding that we must have these documents submitted in order for your child to be legally enrolled in class. You are welcome to submit these completed forms during office hours before the first day of school.
- 2 Emergency cards per student.
- 1 Free and Reduced lunch form per student.
- 1 Summary Signature page per student.
Here are some important dates to put on your calendar…
August 21st (Sunday): Paper Parade in the Patwin MPR 2:00-5:00. Have all your paperwork completed and receive your student’s class placement. You can also see a posted list of necessary school materials. CLASS LISTS WILL NOT BE POSTED THIS YEAR!
August 22nd (Monday): Kinder Orientation (AM kinders and parents 8:30 a.m.-9:15 a.m.) (PM kinders and parents 11:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m.)
August 23rd (Tuesday): First Day of School
August 31st (Wednesday): Back to School Night begins in the quad at 6:00 p.m. and concludes at 7:30 p.m.
September 5th (Monday): Labor Day Holiday!
September 7th (Wednesday): First Character Ed Assembly (Respectful) and Spirit Day (Mustache Day) at 1:30. Hearing Screening K, 2nd, and 5th.
September 9th (Friday): Patwin Community Night-bring your family, your picnic, and your good cheer. More info to come from PTA 5:00-8:00 p.m.
September 23rd (Friday): Picture Day!
