WILLETT SCHOOL SONG
November, 1997

  1. In the back of the school on Sycamore Lane,
Kids are playing pogo, two by two,
While others practice lines for the sixth grade play
At the front of the school in the multipurpose room
  2. 'Neath the canopy of leaves of the old willow tree,
I talk to you , and you talk to me,
And the moments that we share in the cool, cool shade,
Where laughter fills the air, lasting friends are made. CHORUS.

    CHORUS:
A School is not just a building.
It's not just a song we sing.
At Willett School we are learning,
    And we learn from everything.
  3. Playing in the field or working in class,
Lots of caring teachers guide our plath,
Respect for one another is the golden rule,
That echoes through the halls of Robert Willett School. CHORUS.
  4. Somewhere in the sky above the old willow tree
Whootie the Owl watches over you and me.
We all grow in wisdom as the days go by.
Learning gives us wings - someday we will fly. CHORUS.
