     Montessori works are designed to develop independence, concentration and focus. Children learn through doing. Along the way they develop good work habits and a genuine interest in the world around them all while building their fine and gross movement control.   Most Montessori jobs are self correcting. They are build with a control of error which allows the child to identify his/her error, correct it and learn.      For the elementary child, language becomes the vehicle of exploration in the classroom. Reading, writing, and critical thinking are embedded in everything we do.       “Great Lessons” help students learn where we have been while developing an interest in where we want to be. Their purpose is to spark interest  and draw students to exploration in those areas of study.
