What will the offspring of the F1 Off Spring

Purple vs. Green Stem Fast Plants

This project will involve conducting the scientific method just as you performed in your 1st semester research projects.

Currently growing and ready to be pollinated are our F1 generation fast plants.

We will be pollinating these plants just like Gregor Mendel did with the pea plants to determine the results.

For this assignment we will be writing only the paper and keep data in your notebooks. Also, the assignment will be completed almost entirely during class time so, use your time wisely.

Research Paper

This paper is to follow the same guidelines as the Agriscience fair project. This should be should be easier the second time around.

Paper Components-

Introduction, Hypothesis, Materials and Methods, Data Tables and Graphs

Results, Conclusion

It will be completed in two parts:

Part I-Due Thursday April 3rd

 Introduction, Hypothesis, Materials and Methods, works cited

Part II- Due Thursday May 8th
