Distribution and Purchases

I didn't pick up my yearbook; what do I do?

Unclaimed yearbooks are stored for two years. If you were unable to pick up your yearbook, and you did not make special arrangements during the last two weeks of school, we will hold your yearbook for you until the beginning of school year, 2009-10.

How can I purchase a yearbook?

Yearbooks are sold online at yearbooksareforever.com. If you are unable to purchase a yearbook online you may come in A-7 during 4th period and buy one with check or cash only. Only a limited about of books can be purchased at school when books are distributed around Memorial Day. 

Where is the yearbook room?

The yearbook room is located A-7 (formerly the H building). We are directly across from A-5.

When will books be delivered?

Books  are delivered in late May, usually around Memorial Day.

Do I need to keep my receipt?

Yes, this is your proof of purchase. Also save the confirmation email from Walsworth.

How are books sold?

They are sold directly on line at yearbooksareforever.com.

Can I have a foil name stamp on my book?

All foiling and extras must be ordered before February 2011.

I paid for a book in the beginning of the year but Walsworth has no record?

Walsworth keeps very careful records. If you purchased a book from Walsworth then you created an account. Your purchase information is stored in your account. Go to your account at yearbooksareforever.com and review it.

If you purchase a book at school you need to keep your receipt. Bring the receipt as proof of purchase during distribution week.

Do Seniors have priority in line?

No, however we will have a special pickup time during distribution week prior to regular distribution.

Can I purchase extra autograph pages or covers?

During June sales and distribution we will have extra pages and covers.

Can I return a book after I purchase it?

No, all sales are final.

Can I purchase old yearbooks?

Yearbooks are never old, however we keep a supply of books from years past. The prices are variable according to supply. Some years are  unavailable but recent books are in good supply. Books are also available at the Yolo County Library and the DSHS Library. These are available to photocopy.

2010 YEARBOOK INFORMATION

2010 Yearbooks are still available for pick-up and sales. Books are now $60. If you have not picked up your book please bring your receipt or proof of purchase for pick up in September.

2009 yearbooks are still available at $30.

Senior Portraits

NOTICE:

The Senior Protrait dealine was November 3rd 2010.

Where are Senior portraits taken?

2010 senior portraits are taken with Lifetouch-Prestige. They have studios in Elk Grove and Orangevale. We appreciate the distance you need to travel however these are the studios available and there is no studio in our vicinity that can handle the volume of portraits. We need to have consistency with the portraits as well as digital autoflow for production.

Can we use another photographer?

No. Lifetouch Prestige combines all the portraits on one DVD that is sent to Jostens publishing. The yearbook does not handle the actual photos. Photo are sent digitally to Jostens.

I moved to DHS area after the deadline, can I still include my senior photo in the book?

We try to accomodate those with a special circumstance however we have difficulty accepting any photos past the our December plant deadline. You can risk be omitted from the yearbook. If you are very late and the pages have been printed, we can order photo labels that can be placed in your book and friends books.

What if I miss my appointment with Prestige/Lifetouch?

We offer school site portraits in October. However this is your last chance to have a photo taken. You will be notified by Lifetouch for your appointment.
