Images are hard to find with our district filter. Here are some websites where you might find some good resources.
Calisphere is a unique and free web site from the University of California that is designed around the needs of K-12 educators. The site provides access to thousands of digitized historical images and documents from UC s vast collections, and from museums and libraries across California.
This list of links to images was created by the Springfield Township High School Library staff. Please heed their warning about publishing rights and citations.

These sites are provided by the district and are not blocked by Lightspeed. They are primarily government sites with public domain images, video and audio. Some of the sites request a citation while others require it. Some resources on the sites are from copyrighted sources and must be acknowledged as such. When in doubt about the legal use of an image, video or audio clip, always look at the Conditions of Use information on the website.
There are no dead bodies. Despite the creepy title, this is a collection of searchable, free to use images.
Copyright friendly images for education.
This is a collection of publically funded, government created or otherwise historical, scientific or educational videos from the past. The are OK to be used within fair use guidelines but NOT commerically. Search by B & W, color, topic, or even length of video clip.
U.S. Government Photos and Graphics
Most of these images and graphics are available for use in the public domain, and they may be used and reproduced without permission or fee. However, some images may be protected by license. We strongly recommend you thoroughly read the disclaimers on each site before use.
