Registration

NEW STUDENTS

To enroll a student in Emerson or to re-enroll a student (except after a brief transfer to travel study), you will be asked to complete the following forms:

• Registration
• Emergency Information
• Verification of Residence
• Request for Cumulative Records
• Student Internet/Network Safe and Responsible Use Agreement
• Library Use

Registration packets containing the required forms are available from the Registrar, Wendy Lewis, in the Counseling (main) office at Emerson.

You will also be asked to provide the following documentation:

• Immunization Records
• Proof of Residency showing physical address (copy of rental/lease agreement, utility bill, etc.)
• Birth Certificate or Passport
• Copy of most recent report card, if available

Upon completion of the required paperwork and after providing the requested documentation, the student will be administered a math placement exam.  ELD testing is required for non-English speaking students.  Upon completion of these tests, new students are scheduled to meet with their counselor, who will compile the student's class schedule.
