Dear Parents,
These calendars will help you plan family vacations to coincide with school holidays. Each day your child is not at school, for any reason, the district loses approximately $40 in state revenue. Your children should be here every school day except when they are too sick to attend. For absences other than for illness, please consider writing a check payable to "DJUSD" to make up for the lost revenue. Regular attendance is the role you may play to help in this time of severe budget crisis.
