This short Digital Hybrid Socratic Seminar clip provides an opportunity for teachers to consider ways to use a Socratic Seminar and integrate technology into that practice.  As indicated on this CDE website, this 13 minute video shows Matthew Cowan─an instructional coach at Redlands Unified School District─demonstrating the formative assessment process as his grade 9 ELA students debate the effects of texting and video games on student learning.
