César Chávez Elementary Celebrates Its New Multipurpose Room With An Open House And Ribbon Cutting!
Posted on 09/23/2022
DJUSD celebrated the newest multipurpose room (MPR) construction at César Chávez Elementary on Thursday, September 22 with an open house and ribbon cutting. Built on the north side of campus, this MPR accommodates assembly seating for the entire school (up to 650 students and staff). With a design identical to the other multipurpose facilities at North Davis, Birch Lane and Willett Elementary, this beautiful facility also boasts a music room, warming kitchen, staff and student all-gender restrooms and a new stage to showcase performances and assemblies.

We are grateful to the DJUSD Board of Education, students, staff, and school community who were in attendance to celebrate this with us, and we are especially thankful to our Davis voters, our District and our community for your generous support of this Bond project!
